Retirement is an exciting time, but it can also be a challenge. The last thing you want to worry about is health care. Kaiser Permanente offers coverage for both Medicare-eligible retirees as well as those retiring before they are Medicare-eligible. If you are eligible for Medicare, you can enroll in one of our Kaiser Permanente Medicare Advantage (HMO) health plans for CalPERS retirees: Kaiser Permanente Senior Advantage (KPSA) and Kaiser Permanente Senior Advantage (KPSA) Summit. For those who are not yet Medicare eligible, you can remain on the Kaiser Permanente Basic (HMO) plan. Retirees, if you are ready to enroll in Medicare and Kaiser Permanente, visit calpers.ca.gov or myCalPERS, or call 1-888-CALPERS (1-888-225-7377) .
